Our Purpose

To encourage a passion for prayer and to provide prayer opportunities for all.

Where can I get involved?

Prayer Opportunities...

“Keep In Your Prayers”
 

We have a section in the Sunday bulletin for prayer requests and we invite you to pray over them during   the week.

Email Prayer Chain
 

Join the email prayer chain by signing up in the church entry area or email prayers@mvlutheran.org.

Prayer Board
 

Located in the church entry area. You will find information and prayer requests for family members serving in active military duty overseas, for members serving in the mission field and for people in need  of healing

Time to Pray
 

Join others in worship and praise and pray for our congregation, current world events and the needs  of individuals.

Prayer Impact Teams (PIT)
 

Our vision is to have a PIT for every ministry at Mountain View. If you are interested in joining a PIT, call the appropriate person below.

Sunday School

Post Service Prayer Ministry
  Join the prayer ministry team to pray after the  worship services with and for people and their needs. Training will be provided.

Prayer Room
 

A quiet place in our noisy world, where you can rest in God’s presence. Books on prayer and meditation are available. Our prayer room is located on the south east side of the Sanctuary. Access through door opposite of the Memorial Garden. Open Monday – Friday 6:00am-3:00pm.

 

General Information

Have you ever experienced God’s healing power in your life? Would you like to feel comfortable praying for others? Healing prayer is one of the greatest gifts that we can give each other. 

We are offering an opportunity for you to be trained to pray effectively for others. 

Prayer ministers are available to everyone after all worship services to pray with you on an individual basis for your specific needs.
