Mountain View Lutheran Church: New Member Information

Our Mission

Called by Christ to assist the Pastors by encouraging and welcoming New Members to join the body of Christ at Mountain View Lutheran church by way of personal contact and to serve as facilitators in the process.

Events/Activities

The Sunday of the orientation, a luncheon is served and a Ministry Fair is held with organization representatives available.

General Information

A New Member orientation is scheduled for a Sunday in January, May and September, followed the next Sunday by the New Member reception. All those wishing to learn more about the Lutheran faith and/or joining Mountain View Lutheran are contacted by a welcome letter and a personal follow up call to invite prospective members to the orientation.

It is the goal that each New Member uses their gifts as active members of the Body of Christ in fellowship, spiritual and volunteer opportunities.

Everyone is invited to full participation in all programs and activities at Mountain View Lutheran prior to formally joining the church.
