Middle School Ministry

Our middle school ministry is for youth in sixth through eighth grades. We meet about twice a month for a large group time at the church. This consists of small groups, some wild object lessons, games, worship, and other activities.

We encourage everyone to bring friends!

We have volunteer opportunities available for adults looking to be a part of our youth’s lives. We have chaperone positions available on all the above events through the year. We also have Impact Adult spots available for our Small Group Ministry, and  Impact Adult positions available for our weekly Senior High program “Metanoia.”  

Our program is always looking for planning partners, and other creative ideas.

Confirmation

As a ministry of the congregation, Confirmation is the preparation and training to publicly affirm the gift God gives in baptism. Most of the youth in our middle school program participate in Confirmation.

This ministry is run in conjunction with our ongoing middle school program. We require the youth to participate in our Sunday night programs, service activities, small groups, and social activities.

We also expect the youth to participate in our week long Campfirmation during the summer, our trip to Mexico as a graduated eighth grader, to complete a faith statement, and to meet with either the youth director or one of the pastors.

We strive to make confirmation fun and rewarding, to integrate the family into the process and to raise up active adults into the congregation. We use the latest brain research and teaching methods to hit all the senses in our instruction.
