General Information

The Lutheran Coalition consists of five Lutheran churches that together raise money to build a Habitat House each year. The churches involved are Mountain View, Esperanza, Holy Trinity, Desert Cross And Epiphany. The Coalition must fundraise to get $60,000 to build the house, one half the cost of the house. The owner and his family are also required to work on their house. They receive a $60,000 interest free mortgage. About 25 volunteers from the Coalition churches work each Saturday for 12 weeks to complete the house.

The golf tournament and tax credit donations are major fundraiser for the Coalition.
