Music Ministries

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands, serve the Lord with gladness and come into his presence with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise." Psalm 100:1-3

Adult & Youth

Choirs
The Daybreak Singers are a devoted group of people who rehearse on Thursday mornings at 11:00 am and sing weekly with the Sanctuary Choir.

The Sanctuary Choir
Rehearsals - Wednesdays 6:30pm
This choir supports our 9:15am worship on Sundays, with a variety of music from traditional, gospel and contemporary. As a dedicated group of musicians, we welcome new members at any time who share our love of singing and joy of contributing to the ministry of music in worship. They are the core choir for the festival choir which sings for cantatas and special occasions. All are welcome from high school ages on up.

The Festival Choir convenes about six weeks prior the Easter Passion Play and Christmas Cantata presentations. This choir is a temporary commitment for the festival holidays.

Bell Choirs
The Bells of Praise for adults and high school youth rehearse at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays.

This choir is typically full, but subs are always needed. If you can read music and have an understanding of timing, we will show you the nuances of ringing a bell! Our choir is lucky enough to have a "spare" octave which makes rehearsing very efficient. Both the sub and the ringer are able to play at the same time to quickly learn the piece.

Organ Worship Music
We feature the Rodgers organ at our 8:00am and 9:15am Sunday services. The organ enhances the service and there is a beauty and realism in its tone, bringing worship close to the heart.

Children

Bell Choirs
Chiming Cherubs (ages 3 years - 2nd grade) rehearse at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Join Miss Camille and Miss Leslie for an energetic evening of singing Bible songs, moving to music, and learning to ring those bells! Our older children love to help our younger participants and sometimes they even present their own pieces. We love to add to worship on several Sundays and special holidays throughout the school year.

The GosBells (3rd grad and older)
Rehearsals - Mondays 6:30pm
If you are musically inclined, have 45 minutes to spare on a Monday night, and just want to know how they make those bells ring, come practice with us and praise God in a wonderful setting of music and learning! We play in several worship services, the Easter Parade, the Botanical Gardens, and other venues throughout the school year. A commitment is needed because your bells will be silent without you!

The Bells of Praise for adults and high school youth rehearse at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays.
Our adult handbell choir is typically full, but subs are always needed. If you can read music and have an understanding of timing, we will show you the nuances of ringing a bell. Our choir is lucky enough to have a "spare" octave which makes rehearsing very efficient. Both the sub and the ringer are able to play at the same time to quickly learn the piece.

Be sure to check our calendar for rehearsal schedules.

Children’s Choir
Joyful Noiz (grades 1-5) rehearse from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
This choir generally sings during a worship service once a month and presents a Christmas Musical in December. Our songs are upbeat, with a message to which kids can relate. Rehearsals start Wednesday, September 4th.
